Ian McAuley | NHHRC report wimps out

This week the National Health and Hospitals Reform Commission released its interim report. Health economist and CPD fellow Ian McAuley was canvassed for his opinion on the report by a range of media outlets.

The Age quotes his claim that it is a “timid document” written to entrench vested financial interests.

On ABC Radio’s PM he describes the reforms as “incredibly clumsy” and says that the only people who win from the new system are the financiers.

Ian McAuley has written a full review of the report for Croaky, explaining his key criticisms. You can read that here.
