Any debate on funding schools will come across as "politics of envy" or "class warfare", mainly because the Right will seek to tear down any halfway decent analysis of their policies.

The things that are not said here though are interesting, like the idea that the Right is not interested in funding public education. Their view, and it has been the driving force of their policies since the 1980s, is that the next generation of leaders will come through the private schools, so why bother funding public schools.
