Ian Marsh is a professor at the Australian Innovation Research Centre, University of Tasmania. In 1995 his book Beyond the Two Party System was published by Cambridge University Press. In press at the moment is a new and expanded study Democratic Decline, Democratic Renewal: Britain, Australia, New Zealand. He has a PhD in Political Science form Harvard and was, many years ago, Research Director for the Liberal Party Federal Secretariat.
