Jon Altman

Bio

Jon Altman is Professor and Director of the Centre for Aboriginal Economic Policy Research at the Australian National University. He lived at an outstation in central Arnhem Land in 1979 and 1980 and has undertaken research on the outstations movement since then, especially in the tropical savanna. In 1998 he co-authored a report National Review of Resource Agencies Servicing Indigenous Communities.
