Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Centre for Policy Development (CPD).
The CPD is a small outfit with limited resources. The contribution of interns and volunteers to making our work possible is always appreciated.
Because we value the time and energy of our volunteers, we want to make their experience with the CPD as rewarding as possible. To help us do this, we need to match the skills and interests of potential volunteers with the work that needs to be done.
We would appreciate it if you could answer this short questionnaire. If there are tasks to be done that match your interests, we will get in touch and ask if you are keen to help out.
We do apologise if we aren’t able to find work for you – but at least it will save you from sitting in our office twiddling your thumbs or stuffing envelopes (although, to be honest, we could use a little help with that also!)
The Centre for Policy Development, which originated from an online policy portal, is very interested in expanding the circle of citizens involved in the research and development of policy ideas. But our website, quite frankly, needs help. We’d like your ideas on how to improve it here. Even more, we’d like to put your web skills to work on our wishlist of interesting thinktank web projects (and to help us overcome some of the tetchy problems with the core site that are making it harder for us to start experimenting):
