Hannah Barber is a Senior Policy Advisor on CPD’s Early Childhood Development Initiative.
Hannah has professional experience in research, policy implementation, professional development and classroom practice. She brings expertise in child development, adult learning, innovation methodologies and science-based design, and has a particular focus on improving outcomes for children and families facing adversity.
Most recently, Hannah has been working at the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University where she focused on the design, evaluation and scale of sustainable policies and practices using the latest insights from the science of early childhood development. In this role, Hannah worked alongside a range of U.S. and international policy makers, system leaders, practitioners and social entrepreneurs.
She holds a BA (Politics & International Studies) and a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) from the University of Melbourne, and a Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education (Human Development & Psychology), where she studied as a General Sir John Monash Scholar.
