Isabel Hanson (Senior Policy Adviser)

Dr Isabel Hanson is a General Practitioner, Lecturer at the University of Sydney, and Senior Policy Adviser at the Centre for Policy Development. Isabel works in Aboriginal health at the Gandangara Land Council with special interests in child and adolescent health, community mental health, and trauma-informed care. She was awarded the RACGP NSW&ACT General Practitioner in Training of the Year Award in 2021. Prior to her career in medicine Isabel worked in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and the Department of Human Services, with a background in behavioural economics and mixed method research.
