Kirsten Gray (Board Member)

Kirsten is a Muruwari woman with family connections to North Western NSW and mother to two young children. She has a strong background in advocacy, including representing vulnerable families within the statutory child protection system and advocating for the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at the Australian Human Rights Commission and Royal Commission into the Protection and Detention of Children in the Northern Territory. Kirsten has also contributed to the development of The Aspiration Initiative, an academic enrichment program for Indigenous students and was previously the CEO of the NSW Reconciliation Council. Kirsten is a previous Secretary and Mentor of the AIME program and current board member of ANTaR.
