Paul Grimes

Paul Grimes PSM has been a long-time CPD collaborator. He has a long history of public service at federal and state level. Paul was recently appointed as Chair of the Net Zero Commission NSW. Prior to that he held the following positions: Secretary of the NSW Treasury; Secretary of the Federal Agriculture Department; Secretary of the Federal Sustainability, Environment, & Water Department. He was also Victorian Public Service Commissioner and held senior positions in the ACT and South Australian public service. Paul was also awarded a Public Service Medal in 2010 for outstanding work on the global financial crisis.

Paul is an economist by training, receiving a Bachelor of Economics from Flinders University and later completing a Masters of Economics and a PhD in Economics at the Australian National University.
