Richard Bolt is Vice-President of Strategy and Innovation with Swinburne University of Technology, where he has responsibility for university-wide strategic planning and the related functions of governance, legal services, integrity, commercial strategy, risk management, business analytics and campus planning. Richard has more than 30 years’ experience with a career focused on the creation of sustainable public value through better strategic planning, engagement, collaboration and innovation.
Richard has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, a Master of Public Policy and Management, and is co-author of two books on Australia’s security. He is currently a member of the stakeholder advisory panel to Australia’s Chief Scientist, Alan Finkel, for the development of a national hydrogen strategy. Richard was awarded a Public Service Medal in the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honours
