Vishal Beri has over 23 years’ experience in the government, private and not for profit sectors, including at executive and Board level. He is the founder and managing director of Aegis Consulting Group, a boutique international consultancy providing public policy, economics, political, communications and strategy advice in Australia, United Kingdom and Singapore. Vishal advises governments and business on a range of social and economic policy issues including energy, transport, health, welfare, financial services, and environment. He has advised on the design and implementation of major economic and social policy reforms including National Competition Policy and the strategic commissioning of government service delivery. Prior to creating Aegis Consulting Group in 2002, Vishal was a senior policy adviser in the Australian and NSW Governments, including the NSW Cabinet Office and Australian Treasury. He was also a senior adviser to a Cabinet Minister in the NSW Government. Vishal has served on company Boards in the pharmaceutical and tourism industries and also been a non-executive Director of a community housing provider. In recent years he has written major published reports on infrastructure, financial services and conservation, and has also had several opinion articles on domestic and international policy published in the Australian press. Vishal has a Masters degree in International Relations and Bachelors degrees in Law and Political Science.
