Marine Economy series

Between 2011 and 2014 the Sustainable Economy Program completed a major research series on Australia’s marine economy, including a comprehensive assessment of the economic, environmental and reputational benefits offered by marine reserves. Major publications in this series included Net Advantage (2014), assessing the impact of Commonwealth marine reserves on commercial fisheries; Marine Protection Dividend (2013), which looked specifically the benefits of the NSW marine reserve network; and the report Stocking Up: Securing our marine Economy (2011).
