Anne Croudace is the Social Services Lead in the Centre for Policy Development’s Social Services Focus Area. She brings more than 16 years’ experience in social policy development and implementation at Commonwealth and state levels and across a range of policy areas including housing, education, children and families and justice.
Before joining CPD, Anne held senior policy and executive advisory roles across the public sector, including in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, the Commonwealth Treasury and the Department of Social Services.
Most recently, Anne led teams working in formal partnership with First Nations leaders, First Nations peak bodies, and state and territory governments. In these roles, she provided advice on the establishment of a National Commissioner for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children and Young People and their office, and on how to realise the Closing the Gap objectives through the design of the Housing Australia Future Fund First Nations Stream.
Anne holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) from the University of Sydney and a Master of Public Policy from the Australian National University.
