Australia-Indonesia Energy Transition Policy Dialogue

Building a just energy transition in the Indo-Pacific

The Australia-Indonesia Energy Transition Policy Dialogue brings together senior officials, regulators, business and non-government experts from Australia, Indonesia and the region to develop collaborative solutions for a just energy transition in the Indo-Pacific.

Convened by the Centre for Policy Development in conjunction with the Climateworks Centre, the Australia-Indonesia Energy Transition Policy Dialogue is a platform for government and non-government decision-makers in both countries.

The initiative breaks down barriers to investment in the green energy sector by creating a policy environment that encourages capital flow to renewable energy initiatives.

Through roundtables, research and analysis, the Australia-Indonesia Energy Transition Policy Dialogue raises ambition for the region’s decarbonisation journey in pursuit of a more sustainable, cleaner and equitable energy landscape in the Indo-Pacific.

The Australia-Indonesia Energy Transition Policy Dialogue informs the work of the Centre for Policy Development’s Sustainable Economy and Indo-Pacific programs.
